Rey was so patient, encouraging and easy to work with. He made us feel comfortable from the very beginning and taught us a routine that felt natural to us while still looking amazing on the day. He also made sure that we had those great wow moments for our photographer to capture which we appreciate a lot!

Our first dance was such a special moment, and we have Rey to thank for helping us feel confident and prepared. We had so much fun throughout the whole process and would absolutely recommend Rey to anyone looking to learn a first dance for their wedding!

Neither of us had danced before, but she was so patient and attentive, teaching us everything step by step and making us feel confident along the way. The final dance looked AMAZING!

Our guests were genuinely wowed by our first dance, and it looks sooo good on video too. We couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.

Many people said that the first dance was their favourite part of our wedding! Cristina has been a great dance instructor. I love her energy as she makes the class very fun and enjoyable. As a result, I always look forward to the class plus I get to know nice ladies. It’s fun and takes me on a trip around the world with salsa, jive, cha cha cha, bhangra, samba and more. It suits me because I can take it my own pace and nobody takes themselves too seriously. He took us through some basics before going into the routine which he built with us step by step. It made the process very enjoyable and manageable. By the end, we were so surprised with how far we had come and we were so happy with the final result. I would definitely recommend SDR to anyone looking for an amazing first dance experience.

Since we had never practiced dancing before and were complete beginners, we really appreciated how patiently he guided us step by step and made us feel comfortable learning.
What really stood out was his dedication,
he would often stay overtime just to make sure we understood the steps. His passion for teaching and genuine care for his students truly made the experience enjoyable, fun, and memorable.

We did the 5 lesson package and he was flexible with our busy schedules in the lead up to the wedding. Rey really is the most thoughtful, encouraging, and patient teacher ever. He made it fun and we had a great time learning to dance. We had absolutely no experience and by the 4th lesson we had our dance down pat and were able to make tweaks here and there to suit our comfort levels and also practice with my big ballgown wedding! By the 5th lesson we just drilled and drilled the dance and felt ready for the big day!

I would highly recommend Sydney Dance Rhythms to anyone looking for a first dance instructor. Don't hesitate to book this in and the earlier the better before your wedding day. Also the location was very convenient, with lots of street parking. Always very easily got a park! Thank you Rey ❤️🥰
