Experience Romanian Dance with Sydney Dance Rhythms

This new initiative, the Traditional Romanian Ensemble at Sydney Dance Rhythms, was founded by Cristina Iordache Yeo to share the beauty of Romanian dance and artistry with the wider Australian community. Rooted in authenticity and joy, the ensemble welcomes dancers of all ages and backgrounds, inviting them to experience vibrant choreography, traditional costumes and storytelling through movement.

Working in close partnership with the Romanian Association Phoenix, the ensemble regularly takes part in major cultural events across Sydney and Australia, attended by international diplomats, including ambassadors and consuls general. Through these high‑profile performances, the Traditional Romanian Ensemble helps showcase Romanian heritage on an international stage, strengthening cultural ties and bringing the spirit of Romania to audiences from around the world.
